Checking BR1M Status online
Upon submitting BR1M applications, applicant can check their BR1M status online after the processing period. Do take not that not all application will be successful as BR1M aid is subjected to stringent checking by relevant agencies to make sure that the cash aids are distributed correctly.
Common BR1M application failures
Here are some common causes where BR1M application is rejected.
- Applicants MyKad number does not exist in National Registration Department (JPN)
- Applicants name is different from data in JPN
- Applicants Mykad number does not exist
- Applicants name is different from data
- Total household income exceeded BR1M eligibility , verified by agencies
- Applicants have received Book Voucher
- Applicants ownership of vehicles exceeded BR1M eligibility, verified by agencies
- Applicant’s spouses ownership of vehicles exceeded BR1M eligibility, verified by agencies
- Applicant’s dependencies ownership of vehicles exceeded BR1M eligibility, verified by agencies
- Applicant’s status is married, however without marital and spouse information
- Applicant’s status is married, however with incomplete marital and spouse information
- Applicant’s dependencies information is not complete
- Applicant’s age does not meet application criteria
- Applicants submitted more than 1 time
- Applicants exist as spouse in other applications
- Applicants exists as dependencies in other applications
- Husband/Wife submitted different applications
- Husband/Wife appears as dependencies in another BR1M application
- Dependencies appears as dependencies in another BR1M application
- Dependencies also applied for another BR1M application
- Dependencies appears as husband/wife of another BR1M application
- Husband and Wife who have failed BR1M application for 4 times
- Mykad number of Spouse/Dependencies do not exist in JPN database.
To check your BR1M application status,
1. Look for “Semakan Status” at the upper menu in the BR1M website
To check for BR1M status online, go to BR1M website, click “SEMAKAN STATUS” button. Applicants will have to key in the MyKad number and click “SEMAKAN STATUS PERMOHONAN” button.
2. Answer 2 secret questions that is set during application to check BR1M status
Applicants will also get toe changed the secret question during the process.
3. Upon successful answers, applicant will be able to check their BR1M application status and also print the results.
